300 archive pieces of Y/Project & Yohan Serfaty for the benefit of ANDAM
“Ten years after his passing, Yohan Serfaty is being celebrated with the creation of a dedicated fund to perpetuate his vision. His legacy is being brought to life through a charity auction of 300 rare pieces which the benefits will be donated to ANDAM to help support emerging artists for the 2026 edition of its prize.
Recognized for his sculptural cuts, architectural rigor, and sensory use of materials, Yohan Serfaty created a world of great formal coherence and profound emotional intensity. His clothes, conceived as extensions of the body, embodied a rare tension between protection and vulnerability, density and elevation. In 2025, several of his iconic pieces joined the permanent collections of the Palais Galliera and the Musée des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, confirming the central place he still occupies in the recent history of French fashion.
This project, led by Nathalie Serfaty, the designer’s sister, and Dan Silva, a brand strategy consultant and fashion entrepreneur, was born from a desire to make Yohan’s legacy tangible while placing it at the service of contemporary design. It takes the form of a two-part event sale.
THE AUCTION
Carefully curated from personal archives, the selection mainly brings together pieces from the eponymous brand YOHAN SERFATY as well as rare prototypes from his first collections for Y.
PROJECT
● From September 1st 26th, 2025, a first series of pieces will be unveiled on IG account @fondationyohanserfaty as bidding format with direct messages. The last bid will get a payment link to honor, otherwise the pieces will go to the previous bidder.
● A selection of pieces will be offered from October 4th to 6th during Parisian Fashion Week, at VSP store (19 rue Debelleyme, Paris 3e), flagship of avant-garde fashion. If this place is a one of choice, it’s also because Yohan Serfaty made his beginning with leather work for several seasons. This physical sale will offer a sensitive and immersive experience, designed for those passionate about fashion, design, and radical creation
Among the presented pieces: Long, slender coats, structured jackets, rare leathers (horse, deer, kangaroo), spidery knits, and monochrome silhouettes. Sizes range from XS to M, for prices between €50 and €2,000. Each unique garment tells a fragment of Yohan Serfaty’s aesthetic quest, from his artisanal rigor to his vision of clothing as a sculpture of intimacy.
A PROJECT TOWARDS THE FUTURE
The Fonds de Dotation Yohan Serfaty pour la création contemporaine et le dialogue des cultures, owner of the 300 pieces, will donate the whole benefits of the sales to ANDAM. This natural alliance between two dedicated structures is about celebrating transmission and showing their support to young creation.
“It’s a continuity, a way of transforming heritage into a springboard, of making memory a lever for action. By working together, the Fund and ANDAM give the next generation the tools to build free, committed and bold visions”, says Nathalie Serfaty.
Around 20.000 euros from the sale will be donated to the association directed by Nathalie Dufour, founder of ANDAM and devoted promoter of an independent fashion well conscious of its social, economic and cultural concerns. These funds will finance a unique project aimed at creators, the details of which have not yet been revealed, but which will directly aim to support the emergence of new talent.
A LIVING MEMORY, A SHARED FUTURE
This event doesn’t just revive the memory of an extraordinary designer. It opens a space: to discover, collect, transmit, and above all, to keep the road. Through fashion, it’s about activating a story, carrying a voice, and offering others the opportunity to write the next chapter.”
