FW2021: Constança Entrudo 07 at Lisbon’s Teatro Thalia

Through subtle back-and-forth between past, present and future, Constança Entrudo’s FW2021 collection the World We Live In: Part II weaves a commentary on sustainable regeneration. Her unconventional take on up-cycling seeks to rethink our immediate relationship with the environment, incorporating Madeira Islands’s traditional art of tapestry and embroideries to conjure up images of deserted landscapes. Brazil’s Tropicália movement, with its vibrant combination of popular and avant-garde styles, as well as Caetano Veloso’s poetic musicality serve as a backdrop for this artisanal collection in organic, neutral colors and contrasting details.
