OBJECT RECENT HISTORY

For the 2021 collection, the ArtEZ Fashion Design 3rd year students challenged themselves to work with deadstock items and fabrics. As a collaborative partner with a direct link to the fashion industry, Arnhem (NL) based brand Humanoid gave the group the opportunity to do so. Humanoid partook in the students’ experience and granted the class access to their deadstock. The class has reinterpreted and further developed the dress in order to give it new life and meaning. The annual Collectie Arnhem sale took place at the humanoid shop, and Collectie Arnhem archival pieces were available for both in-store and online purchase
