Seoul Fashion Week SS2012: LEIGH
After wearing my LEIGH SS2011 personal acquisition last summer, I am convinced on the functionality South Korean designer Sang Hyun Leigh considers in his garments when developing a collection. Loyal to a young niche, he delivers once again a similar story, adding some extra velocity towards spring-summer 2012. These convertible proposals allow you to have a city stroll and look more relaxed while sitting next to the river.
LEIGH SS2012 is the “next-summer-call” dedicated to the self-expressed practical man who hardly permits himself to loose his natural elegance, no matter the scenario. Hyun respects the familiar restrictions within menswear, but doesn’t seem satisfied with the look of the ordinary male pedestrian. Details are based on honeycombs patterns, all very subtle and invisible except those in the periphery. LEIGH’s selling points are slowly evolving, including The Flow (Seoul), Product (Seoul), MSK shop in Korea and Harvey Nichols in Hong Kong. Let’s see how hot we will all look!
