KOLOR Men FW2012: blue
After a prestigious sales showroom trajectory for many years in Paris, KOLOR Men FW2012 was sent down the runway for the first time during men’s fashion week. As usual, it was detached from standard ideals and viewed by limited guests; the theatrical man-made blue installation looked more like an irregular amphitheater outlining his elegant and sporty winter proposals. On the runway the models passed us by twice on turbo speeds, we were flattered by the materials.
Characteristic Kolor’s (know as Mr. Junichi Abe) brand signature is to combine multiple materials, wide knitted waste bands were merged and clashing with woven, fake layers including a stunning caramel-camel neoprene bomber. Mr.Abe is able to accessorize men with female items, but always keep a boyish feeling. Most looks had a turtleneck underneath which tied the look together. The main idea is not to have it too tight around your neck, even better a bit loose falling above the thick knits as maintained in the uniformed finale. All models wearing white ones, simply beautiful!
